Shortly without label, the Jonas Brothers signed with Hollywood Records in February 2007. At the same time, the brothers began appearing in commercials for Baby Bottle Pop singing the jingle. On March 24, two songs came out in two different albums: Kids of the future for the soundtrack of Meet the Robinsons (based on the song by Kim Wilde Kids in America), and I Wanna Be Like You in the album Disneymania .
The second self-titled album was released on August 7, 2007. It moves to the No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 200 in its first week. Two singles with music videos were also released: Hold On, SOS two weeks before and just after the release of the album.
In August, the group made several television appearances. August 17 to launch their careers and make them known, they are guest stars in the episode The brothers that I did not choose the Disney Channel series Hannah Montana. In this episode, the group sang the song We Got the Party with the star of the series Miley Cyrus. This episode was broadcast just before the premiere of High School Musical 2 and was viewed by 10.7 million people in the United States. On August 24, the group sang two songs during the Miss Teen USA contest. The next day they played at the closing ceremony of the Disney Channel Games. On 26 August, the group co-present an award with Miley Cyrus at the Teen Choice Awards. November 18, 2007, they play at the American Music Awards, singing SOS.
